North East India tourism is fast growing and rich by nature region. East India tourism includes Indian states such as West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Bihar mainly. 

But it is said that other tiny states such as Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Nagaland are also considered as eastern states. 

East India also includes Andaman-Nicobar islands in Bay of Bengal.

• Assam also includes Kaziranga National park that is one of the bigger World heritage site includes various wild and domestic animals such as Tigers, Migratory birds, Deers, Sambhars, Wild cows and Rhinos.

3. Jharkhand Tourism: 

• Located at the southern part of Bihar start and west side of West Bengal, Jharkhand is famous for its deep forests. 

• Jharkhand includes India’s bigger industrial hub cities such as Jamshedpur, Ranchi and Bokaro city. 

• Their local people celebrate regional festivals very beautifully. They organise great shows during their tribal festival The ‘Karam’.

4. Manipur Tourism:

• Manipur Tourism Place is situated at the border between India and Burma. Manipur is mainly famous in all India for its breath-taking Manipuri Dance. 

• Manipuri is also referred as state of Jewels. Imphal is capital city of Manipur and is famous for Cultural activities. 

• Other famous points of interest are Kangla Gate, Kangla sha, The Duzko valley and Loktak Lake.

5. Meghalaya Tourism:

• Meghalaya Tourism Place is famous for its town Cherrapunji. Cherrapunji have the records of highest rainfall during the year in World. 
   
• It is also said that Cherrapunji is the wettest place on Earth. Maximum rainfall record noted is more than thousand inches during one year. 
   
• Talking about Meghalaya, it’s famous for natural beauty as well as outdoor activities for instance hiking, trekking and mountaineering.
