There are several Hill Stations that you will find your holiday cool and beautiful in summer after visit. They are listed below :
Saputara Hills - Gujarat Tourism :
Located at 1 kilometer above sea level, Saputara is lovely place to visit during summer vacations. Its the small village and its population is very low. Therefore its most peaceful place of Gujarat.
Hatgad Fort(5 kms away from Saputara), Vansda National Park that covers area of quarter half kilometer squares, Artist village-where you can find unique cultural things and Purna Sanctury are nearby places to visit.
Other local places that add beauty to this are Sunset and Sunrise points from hills, various gardens, gira falls and saputara lake.
Temperature level is very low(approx 25 celcious in May) compared to other places at same time.
You can reach to destination by roadway from surat and this roadway is quite tough but fun.
Wilson Hills - Gujarat Tourism :
Another Hill Station, wilson hill, is place of valsad district in southern part of Gujarat.
Accomodation from surat, vapi and valsad is easy. Because of its higher elevation, greenery and humid climate, it is probably one of the most beautiful places of Gujarat.
Many people visit this during summer because of its mind-refreshing and cooling whether. Famous places nearby wilson hills are waterfalls, sunrise and sunset point and valleys(Steep & Ozone).
Distance between saputare and wilson hills is 120 kms and 250 kms from Mumbai.
Pavagadh Hills - Gujarat Tourism :
If you are planing to spend your vacations religiously as well as naturally, this is best place for you.
Situated 46 kms from vadodara and approx 800 meters up from the sea-level, pavagadh hill is located in Aravali range and Different rivers and streams also exist.
Pavagadh hills geological formation is quite tough and the easiest way to reach there is ropeway. Many yougsters and mountaineers use to climb this hill as a part of their mountaineering every year.
Kali mata temple, lakes and sadamshah pir dargah are closure places to visit.
Dhinodhar Hills - Gujarat Tourism :
Situated near Nani-Aral village of Kutch("Kutch nahi dekha to kuch nahi dekha") region, it is small and non-famous but spectacular place to visit during these days.
Awesome view of 'The Great Rann of Kutch', it is most favorite place for photographers now-a-days. Cultural value of this place is also high and it refreshes you soul when you tend to live with locality.
