Delhi is capital of planets biggest democratic nation India. Delhi is worlds second most populous metropolitan city and largest city of India. There are so many various places that attract tourists(tourist attractions in india). you will need minimum 3 days to tour each famous place in Delhi City.

Starting from historical places of Delhi, there are variety of best architectural monuments and sites.

Here is brief  introduction :

- The Red Fort : Oldest fort in the heart of city. Every year PM of India salutes flag and National Anthem is sung. Built in the era of Mughals and because it's built by red bricks it is named 'Red' Fort.

- India Gate : It has been built in the memory of soldiers who died in the world war-1. Height and reason of building is really attractive.

- Hamayu's Tomb : In 16th century, constructed under leadership of king hamayu's wife, it is first and best example of Mughal Fort and Architectural complexes. Other tombs are Lodi Tomb and Safdarjung Tomb.

- Qutub Minar & The Iron Pillar : Qutub Minar is listed in World's Heritage Site, made in 12th century by the first Mughal emperor Qutab-ub-din Aibak. It has five floor and all are made of sandstones and marbles.

- Other historical points are Jantar-mantar, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, Connaught place, Akshardham Temple, Chandani Chowk etc. are other attractive monuments.

Main thing to be considered is that the public transport service of Delhi is best city in India. It uses underground metro rail system all over the city. Metro covers almost all points and region of New & Old Delhi. It is quite easy and affordable method of travelling.

In the ground of Minar, there is one 7m long Iron's pillar is made. It is said that if one fills his both hands around it, his wish would be fulfilled.

Building of Taj Mahal was started in 1632- 1653 and made by Mughal King Shah Jahan in the memory of his 3rd wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Entrance gate is also huge as shown in image. As construction took too much time, money and labours, it is said that Shah Jahan cut the hands of all artists and labours because of the reason that one cannot make same palace in future!

Taj Mahal is situated at the bank of river yamuna and in city Agra. Incised painting, Herringbone, Marble Design and Plant motifs are main inner attractions of The Taaj.

In the center of Taj, there is Mosque of Mumtaz Mahal as well as Shah Jahan and one related myth is that there is constant water drops fall on the Mosque.

One should visit this place because it is superbly created and you will not able to take off your eyes from the whiteness and beauty of it. Nearby point to visit is Agra Fort.

Approximately 5 hours drive from Delhi, Jaipur is capital and biggest city of Indian state Rajasthan. Also known as Pink City, Jaipur includes best places to visit in holidays.

Jaipur was ranked 7th in the category of 'Best Place to Visit' at Asia level in 2008.

Hawa Mahel : One of the famous destinations for tourist is Hawa Mahal. There are almost 1000 windows and air circulation is at best. Thus, it is also known as palace of wind. Its best example of latticework.

Amer Palace : It was home for Rajput emperors. You can see best example of old architecture and engineering arts.

Tiger Fort : It the range of Aravalli hills, you can see best view of Sunset as well as Sunrise from this fort.

City Palace : City Palace is the mixture of architectural engineering of Mughals, Rajputs and Europeans. ther places are Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal, Jantrar-mantar, Albert Museum & Rambaugh palace.

Jallianwala Bagh : In downtown Amritsar, once upon in history, in the year of 1919 British General Dyer shot more than 500 to 1000 non-violent people.

It is also known as black day in Indian history and people visit this as Amritsar Massacre.

Wagah Border : It is the only active border of India and Pakistan. Main two cities over the border are Amritsar and Lahore on other side. Every evening there is flag removing ceremony is held between the borders.

Respectively both Indian and Pakistani soldiers give opponent's country flag to them. This process is very accurate and fabulous.
